Global Trance Grooves ready for stream & download from iTunes, Google music, main website and Soundcloud.
This month I’m fully in my comfort zone of deep, lush musical Progressive Trance, as you’ll hear some awesome music around at the moment. Fasten your seat belts for a full on Turbo mix that includes a new single from Electric universe. One of the best DJ’s I’ve every had the pleasure to play alongside, Russia’s Alexey Sonar takes control of the guest mix.
As I step up to the DJ booth I feel that exact same feeling I did over 30 years ago when I played my first gig, a sense of excitement that I’m going to share with many people the music that I have spent days hunting for in music shops along with the countless hours of late nights preparing, mixing, organising my playlist and making notes. This is the moment my whole week has been building to, it’s going to happen now and that kid inside me is bursting to be unleashed because the rewards of seeing hundreds of smiling faces, tears and euphoria (that I’m in control off) is an experience I can’t put in words.
Since the first EP (parts 1 & 2) released way back in 2003 featuring ‘The main voyage’ and ‘Tour de Trance’ followed shortly after by parts 3 & 4, it was always John’s intention for this to be a 5 series EP, but never got around to finishing. It’s a scratch he needed to itch and 14 years later, he’s made it happen.
There’s no one who lives, breaths & personifies the electronic music underground like John 00 Fleming. In 2014 he mixed and released the second of his epic 4hr-long JOOF Editions music compilations. Described by MIXMAG as “a musical journey with no genre rules, but many twists and turns”, the magazine hailed it as “the sound of the underground”. Over the following twelve months, the release established itself as the ne plus ultra in breaking the fourth wall and liberating the dusk-till-dawn set from the confines of the club.

This months Deep mix is outstanding, beautiful, spiritual and dark. New Mp3 is a track taken from my forthcoming EP, Turbo mix is slamming and Robert Vadney takes over the turntables for the guest mix.
To finish off the end of the year, The Digital Blonde has stepped up to the turntables to create a showcase mix of his ‘The Witches’ album released next month. That’s the driving Trance taken care of, so I’ve created a lovely hypnotic Deep mix, followed by a heads down Turbo mix. Two hours of fantastic music.
My heart is divided when I see the challenges the next generation are faced with trying to make a career in the music industry. On one hand it’s harder than ever in the current climate to make a decent living in this saturated market, then on the other hand many only have themselves to blame failing due to not researching what they are getting themselves into.
